Farmers’ Attitude Towards Environment Friendly Vegetable Cultivation

The study was conducted to determine farmers’ attitude towards environment friendly vegetable cultivation and explore the relationship of selected characteristics with attitude. also identified constraints faced by farmers in relation cultivation. Data were collected from 100 randomly respondents three villages under Sadar upazila Moulvibazar district using a pre-tested interview schedule during February-March 2018. Farmers’ (dependent variable) measured 20 statements on 5-point scale eleven respondents. highest proportion (40%) had unfavorable attitude, 20% highly 1% them neutral while 33% favorable 6% correlation analysis revealed that education, training received, time spent cultivation, annual family income, income knowledge organizational participation credit received significant positive majority (70%) medium 3% high 27% low cultivation.
